Thank you for visiting us today!
The 24th of July is Utah’s state holiday to commemorate the arrival of the pioneers, who escaped from mobs in the Midwest and endured the journey to settle Utah. This day honors them.
Senator Mike Lee is another Utah pioneer.
From plane to plain, he literally goes the extra mile to serve Utahns. As you may be aware, he has a mobile office that holds events in multiple locations throughout all 29 counties within the State, according to his web page. His mobile office, led by himself or his staff, has made over 1,100 stops during his time in office, and it is not slowing down. His staff’s most recent stop was Friday, July 21 in Hyrum, Utah.
“I want my office to be open and available to all Utahns,” said Senator Lee on his website. “The best way to achieve that is by going directly to them. Utahns deal with a range of federal issues – from Social Security to veterans benefits to navigating the bureaucracy of the federal government – and I want to be there to help them get answers.”
He is truly one of the few senators who has gone to such lengths to make sure the voices of the people are heard and are represented.
We wish you a safe and happy Pioneer Day.
Mike Lee should run for president. He’s right on the money.
